“Southern suns and sky blue water, smile upon you Alma mater.” One of the fastest trips of my life; we left for the airport Friday afternoon and drove four hours to catch a plane in New Orleans to sunny Miami, so that we could watch our Canes play FSU on Saturday evening. Our flight home left Sunday morning at 9 am. Every minute was worth it. I saw all of my best friends. Tailgating. Our beautiful campus. Miami will always be my second home.

Southern suns and sky blue water,
Smile upon you Alma mater;
Mistress of this fruitful land,
With all knowledge at your hand,
Always just to honor true,
All our love we pledge to you.
Alma Mater, stand forever
On Biscayne’s wondrous shore.

The Miami Hurricanes will always my team, but Mississippi State is currently ranked #1, and when in Rome… Hail State. Also, my first SEC game inside the stadium. College football is the best.
