Carnival 2014 in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Rue de Bourbon itself. Such charm, such character, such an event. We wandered the streets in purple & gold, dined atop a balcony, pleaded for beads, danced at the bar. I loved New Orleans. There was history. There was art. There was the Gulf. I plan to be back for calmer days.
