Heritage Day

Just got back from Heritage Day in Scituate Harbor- aka one of my favorite days of the entire year! Basically, all of Front Street lining the waterfront gets blocked off to traffic, and the entire town runs rampant throughout all the tents and makeshift street shops spread across everywhere. And there’s live music AND a carousel; that’s how you know it’s legitimate.

Surprisingly, I didn’t buy that much- except it was still soooo much fun. My sister and I walked into town from the beach and spent a good couple hours exploring (and we bought matching seaglass bracelets, much to her horror), before we finally decided to head back. But, overall, she had a good time, I had a good time, the sun was out, and we were on the water- I’d say it was a pretty good day.

And I’m really going to miss this.
