Oslo. A new city. A new passport stamp.

We came here for lunch. Yes, LUNCH. Inter-Europe flights are so affordable, and we both have such wanderlust that we just HAD to – we were overdue for a catch-up anyways. And so, we left London Stansted at 8:40am. A few hours later, we arrived in Rygge, no map and no plan. Wonderfully lost in this surreal landscape. Cityscape, oceanside. The lights, a constant pastel glow, a permanent sunset in the sky.

For three hours, we wandered. Through Akershus Fortress. Along the harbor. Lunch by Aker Brygge.

A fairy tale. Sometimes I have to remind myself that it wasn’t a dream.
