A grey and misty morning; a warm afternoon. Coffee and croissants on the pier, a walk to the lighthouse, sail-boat watching.
It was so wonderful to be home again for this last bit of Indian Summer, to have this day in my favorite place with one of my favorite people.
Someday, when we’re done living abroad, this, this place, will be every day. I miss it when I’m away. But then I remember that I have both – here and there. Home and the world. Both always waiting for me to return. I love that.
