Bright, pastel-painted Faro, beckoning from below our balcony at the Hotel Eva. It may have been the quiet off-season, but the quiet and empty streets could not have been more welcoming. I loved our little trip to the Algarve. Sleepy Portugal, you are beautiful. One weekend was not enough.
