Altamura, Old Town, an entire population crowded in the square for Sunday socializing. Everyone at a bar or café. We ate bread and focaccia on the fountain, watched the kids on skateboards and the people walking.
Away from the square, alcoves and arches. Emptier streets. Behind the walls, through open windows, the sound of families gathering for a big, Sunday lunch.
